There used to be no withdrawal fee. Now there is, and what’s worse, there’s no clear warning before the money is taken. Other ATMs at least show the fee upfront, which feels a lot more transparent. Go to VP Bank.

TPBank has a substantial withdrawal fee, although it's lower than BIDV's 5%. I withdrew 10,000,000d here. Withdrawal fee was 308,000d, plus what my bank in Australia charged. Same as in Hanoi. Got my money finally after being rejected by 4 other banks on the way here.

Wasn’t let in the bank at all even in opening times. Security was making excuses that it wasn’t open until 1:00 - I showed him it was 1:10pm and then he said no you’re not allowed. Personally seemed like racism was the only reason as I saw someone else go in after me

***Update: After disputing the transactionI got refunded within 5 working days ~ upgrading to 3 stars*** Used this ATM for four times at great exchange rate with European card. The fifth time the card reader wasn’t working so I head to the counter to tell them something is wrong. The security guard said „come come“ and showed me the ATM. Lo and behold the card reader was working again. So I put in the card, choose maximum amount (5M), got the card back, but then no money came. Security guard said to come back at 8am when the branch opens. I went back and got told to contact my bank which will contact TP Bank and they will refund the money. While annoying, because they could probably check CCTV or the system that no money was given out, I understand it’s the due process. But when I left, there were TWO other foreigners having the same problem. The negative rating is about the bank not closing the ATM and letting this continue. What kind of business is that, how many more people will have money taken out of their account and no cash given?

TP bank offers no ATM fees *(at the time of this review). The ATM is very modern and easy to use and most importantly one can withdraw 5 million vnd at a time. I am not sure what is the maximum withdrawal in a single transaction or the daily limit. However, many ATMs will allow one to make multiple withdrawals. Love using this bank and ATM.
